Electric dirt bikes in Moab

Moab doesn't open its streets to OHV-only dirt bikes. To ride its streets, an e-moto needs a street-legal plate.

What Moab's rules say

Only street-legal vehicles may be ridden on Moab city streets, so an OHV-registered dirt bike has to be trailered through town. A June 2026 ordinance replaced the old 15 mph OHV street rule. The default speed limit on unsigned streets is 20 mph.
