Fit

Who it fits, and what it's for

Fit is about use and body, not quality. A bike that fits can still be too much machine, so read the experience note before the spec table.

It's for

  • Ride OHV trails on the bike that made the lightweight e-moto category, at the lowest US dealer price we found.
  • Compare seat height, weight, power, price, and paperwork against other bikes by the numbers.
  • Build on a machine with a large parts and aftermarket network, reflected in the maker's own published catalogs.

Terrain: OHV trails, Forest roads.

The maker's spec table lists 46.6 mph, sports and eco modes, and regen on sports mode. Quick for a 125 lb bike, with no beginner mode or power limit documented, so keep it intermediate-and-up.

Not for

  • Street use as delivered. It is an off-road motorcycle and Sur-Ron publishes no street equipment for it.
  • Riders or cargo over the maker's 220 lb capacity.
  • Buyers who want the newest platform: the 2026 Light Bee X makes 10 kW peak and the Light Bee 2 makes 24 kW.

Experience: Intermediate to Experienced.

Manufacturer figures from the Light Bee X page on the official US site, checked November 7, 2026; the maker disclaims its own figures as non-binding. Torque is the maker's 196.2 ft-lb on-wheel figure converted to N·m. Battery energy is calculated from the 60 V 40 Ah pack the page specifies. Weight is the maker's curb figure; the page also lists 99.2 lb dry. The maker quotes only a 2-hour 20%-to-80% fast charge, so full charge time is unknown. Range is the WMTC road figure at 24.9 mph.
