Fit
Who it fits, and what it's for
Fit is about use and body, not quality. A bike that fits can still be too much machine, so read the experience note before the spec table.
It's for
Give a smaller or newer rider a genuine dirt-capable Sur-Ron with a 31 mph ceiling that does not outrun them on day one.
Compare seat height, weight, power, price, and paperwork against other bikes by the numbers.
Ride backyard and OHV trails; the one dealer stock we verified was sold out at $3,299, so expect a used-market purchase.
Terrain: Backyard and private land, OHV trails.
A 31 mph ceiling and 50.4 V power make this the gentlest machine in the line, and the maker lists it against learners. There is no published speed-mode or age guidance, and 17-inch off-road tires mean dirt only.
Not for
Riders or cargo over the maker's 165 lb capacity, including adult-size riders plus gear.
Street use as delivered. It is an off-road motorcycle and Sur-Ron publishes no street equipment for it.
Open desert or hill climbs: 31 mph and 3.5 kW leave no margin there.
Experience: Beginner to Intermediate.

Manufacturer figures from the Light Bee S page on the official US site, checked November 7, 2026; the maker disclaims its own figures as non-binding. Torque is the maker's 162 ft-lb on-wheel figure converted to N·m. Battery energy is calculated from the 50.4 V 26 Ah pack the page specifies. Charge time is the maker's single 5.5-hour figure, and the page lists no 20%-to-80% variant. Range is 34 miles at a claimed steady 25 mph.

The manufacturer says
Surron USA's product page presents the Light Bee S as an off-road motorcycle and publishes no street-legal claim.
What happened in Utah
Nothing observed. We have not examined this bike or tried to register it.
The street-legal path
Unverified. We have not examined this bike or tried to register one. As sold it is an off-road motorcycle; whether a dealer's paperwork supports an off-road title in Utah is untested on this model.
Surron USA still lists the Light Bee S on its US site, but the maker's lineup now leads with the Hyper Bee, and a 2026 listing may be remaining stock.
The maker's page lists a forged aluminum alloy frame and a removable 50.4 V/26 Ah battery pack.
OHV registration is not a street plate. For the difference, the forms, and the equipment a street-legal bike needs, start with Register your bike. For city rules, use Where you can ride.
